Group 'Day of Service' Volunteer EVENTS
National Links Trust welcomes volunteer groups for one-time service projects throughout our three Washington, DC golf facilities - Rock Creek Park Golf, Langston Golf Course, and East Potomac Golf Links. Projects may include Habitat Restoration (Invasive Plant Removal or Native Species Plantings), Trash Clean-up, or Driving Range Clean-up. These projects help make a difference at our facilities and in the community!

The projects listed within this form are designed for groups up to 30 volunteers, depending on the activity. If your group is larger than 30, we may need to split them into multiple groups with projects at different locations or time frames. For groups smaller than 5, please see our running list of on-going volunteer events to find the opportunity that works best for your group.
Project times are during the weekday from 9am - 4pm and are usually 2-3 hours in length. Weekends maybe available on a limited, case-by-case basis depending on size, golf course and time of day.
Please complete the form linked below at least 3-4 weeks prior to your preferred project date.

Langston Golf Course (Google Maps)
Martin Luther King Jr. Day Clean-Up Event: January 19 - 10 AM - 12 PM
Join us in removing invasive plants from historic Langston Golf Course in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr Day! The National Links Trust Habitat Restoration Team invites you to join them in the restoration of vital wetland edge habitat at Langston Golf Course. These efforts are the first steps toward restoring areas of the course slated for ongoing volunteer-driven maintenance and returning the native and natural beauty to this historic golf course.
Where to Meet: Volunteers will meet at the golf course driving range parking lot, near the 10th tee on the far west side of the driving range. See the image below for details.
Equipment: All equipment, including gloves and tools will be provided, but you can also bring your own if you have them.
What to Wear: Dress for cold weather and wear long pants and sleeves, sturdy shoes, water bottle, and a hat are a must.
Mandatory Particpation Waiver: All participants are required to complete the National Links Trust Participation Waiver, which can be completed online by clicking HERE to access the form.
