Support Rob Stokes at The Hike

I was fortunate to be introduced to the game by my dad about as early as I can remember, walking our local golf course to get a few holes in when we could, chasing the sunset over the mountains of southwest PA. My early passion for golf was reinforced by my experience with junior golf programs in my early years. The lessons that I learned on the golf course helped shape me into the person that I am today. 

In many ways, I believe the game can be a catalyst for personal growth and professional development that would be deeply impactful to the next generation. Seeing the work that NLT has done for years here in DC is inspiring and I want to do my part to help keep this mission alive. 

As someone who golfs almost exclusively as a single golfer, I always come away with new friends, stories and experiences to share from golfers of all ages that have come up playing in the DC area. I always leave the course with a new perspective, hearing about the impact that the game has had on so many people, and the long and storied history of golf in the nation's capital.  

I'm incredibly excited to have the opportunity to support NLT's goal of ensuring that affordable and accessible golf is available to the local community. The courses (East Potomac, Langston + Rock Creek), programs and future projects that NLT have in place are critical assets to the community, with the potential to have even more impact in the area for years to come.
