Some places just feel like home. For me, East Potomac Golf Links is one of them and given the past few months, there’s no place I’d rather tee this June for The Hike. I grew up in DC, born at Georgetown University Hospital, played collegiate soccer for the Hoyas, and even laced up my golf shoes for high school tryouts on the fairways of EP. Returning there each year for the Hike isn't just a round of golf is now a tradition!

My journey with NLT began in 2020, when I joined the team right after Mike and Will's landmark RFP approval. What started as a professional opportunity quickly became something much deeper. The relationships I've built, the mission I've grown to believe in, they've shaped who I am both on and off the course.

This year, I'm not just playing for birdies. I'm playing because NLT's work matters, transforming public lands, connecting communities to green spaces, and creating lasting change in cities like the one that raised me. NLT & DC as a whole gave me so much, and this is one small way I get to give something back.
