Support Devin Clark at The Hike

I have long believed that golf offers one of the greatest training grounds for learning and practicing life skills. Honesty, determination, creativity, and relatability are just a few traits that the game encourages every player to hone. The importance of quality municipal golf is that it provides a place for every man, woman, and child to play the game and develop in their humanity.  The National Links Trust has done this for years already in Washington DC, and they are a beacon for many other who pursue this same work nationwide.

I grew up playing the game in public environments, and I would not be the person that I am today without those opportunities. Playing for my public high school golf team brought me to many municipal golf courses in my area, introducing me to different course architectures and inspiring my continued love for the game. These moments also inspired my love for the way golf brings people together from all backgrounds, which has taught me the beauty of building relationships, and recreating together.

It is an honor to hike for the first time this year in support of the National Links Trust. With my camera in hand, I will trudge many fairways and bunkers in support of an organization that I have long admired. Thanks for jumping on this journey with me!
