Support Andy and his efforts at National Links Trust’s ‘The Hike at East Potomac’ on Monday, June 9th

I grew up a country club kid and pretty much always had access to golf when I wanted it. Then came the real world after college and I suddenly found myself without the access I had had previously. Add that to the fact that I was a little shell-shocked by the price of memberships in our area and I ended up barely playing the game for a few years. 

Searching for a way to be more involved with golf I ended up getting into caddying and now have been a full time caddie at Congressional Country Club for 4 years. Walking Congressional every day, but still not being allowed to play it, has had a profound impact on my passion for more affordable and accessible public/municipal golf. 

Golf is, and should be, a game for all people. I’m happy to do my small part in supporting National Links Trust in what will be my second 100 Hole Hike for them because I’m just a simple guy without a lot of money and I love golf. The exact type of person that NLT is here for.
